Appearance
The only protection she is offered from this armor is from the front. Unlike other knights that wear tunics or gambisons underneath their armor, Ariana had elected to wear a thin, skin-tight layer of leather. This leather was custom-tailored to fit her curves with those that stand behind her often gazing down at her rear-end.
Personality
When she dons her armor, she is kicked into 'chivalry overdrive' where she thinks of chivalry and only chivalry. Protecting the weak, serving her god, Courlan, in any way possible. She will be generous and kind to anyone she meets and maintain an honorable stance, even against her most bitter foes. Her desire to purge evil and injustice is paramount -- something she gained from her late father. She is, what most people would call 'Lawful Stupid'. Too lawfully good for her own right and is susceptible to getting herself into trouble because of her stuffy morals.
However, when out of her armor, she acts like a typical woman of her age. Enjoy shopping, when she gets the money, enjoys good food, enjoys company, and enjoys alcohol. She also enjoys seeing cute animals and other pretty things while dejecting things most people would find rather foul. She can be pretty uninteresting as she isn't much for conversations other than talking about her past triumphs in the name of Courlan and swapping war stories with others at the bar.
However, her disinteresting interactions is counter-balanced by her being easily manipulated. Most people might find it relatively easy to take her to bed by flexing their silver-tongue. While she has a decent amount of intelligence and wisdom, she's kinda stupid when it comes to not being coerced or manipulated by people to do their bidding. This is only amplified when she gets even a little bit of alcohol in her; having a bad habit of losing her clothing and dancing with no inhibitions. However, this usually leads her to prostrating herself and saying a bunch of prayers towards Courlan, repenting for her stupid behavior and it usually leads to a lot of regret; assuming she could figure out where she woke up from and make her way back to her inn room.
History
She grew up learning of tales of heroism, of men just like her father, slaying monsters and defending the weak. The thought of a strong and dependable knight permeated throughout her childhood through books told to her during bedtime and by her father regaling tales of his more prime years. The fantasy of becoming one of those 'ser knights' enchanted her and overwhelmed her with the lust for adventure and chivalry. It helped that the teachings of Courlan became her guide, her beacon, to how she approached life.
